Maliki Land

Our rainforest themed pre-K Sunday School area is called Maliki Land.  Maliki is a Swahili word with two meanings.  The first meaning is "kingdom."  The second meaning is "the start of something."  We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 (during the second service).

In Maliki Land, we learn about God's kingdom and our place it it.  We also believe that this experience is the start of something great...our kids' walk with Jesus!

In the Rainforest even the smallest creatures and plants are vital to the survival of the whole rainforest.  If these tiny creatures and plants don't grow, thrive and do the things God created them to do, the whole rainforest suffers.  The same can be said for our smallest students.  Our 3, 4 and 5 year olds may be small, but if they don't learn to grow and do the things God created them to do, the whole church suffers.  That is why we believe it is so important to teach them about God's love and their place in His kingdom at this early age.
